I'll have to wait and see on this. For some reason I can't see her fitting in with the rest of the cast. The only acting I have seen her do was a guest spot on L&O:SVU and she was much better than I thought she would be.

everyone finds Vanessa boring...i love her! this is actually so cool and im so glad she is rooming with Vanessa and not coming to be some Georgina 2.0 who gets in a tiff with Blair!

I agree with Courtneyfan, Vanessa is so freakin boring that if this new character Olivia rooms with her, it will just be boredom onscreen.
This storyline will be horrible. Vanessa will be complaining about rich people like she always does. Olivia will like Vanessa's boyfriend/just friend (forgot his name) and that will make Vanessa jealous and she will complain even more.

I hope that she's only going to be on a few episodes Gossip Girl had a lot of problems last season because they went through storyline's at the speed of light but they also tried to focus to much on other characters I love Georgina just as much as the next guy but there bringing her onto the cast and now Hilary Duff. I'm not to sure how here acting is going to be either I hope i'll be able to put her face to her character and not just see Hillary Duff acting.

Is Georgina coming back?
I didn't think she was because MT has a new show coming up on NBC. That's what I didn't understand about the season finale. They set her up to be on the next season but the actress will be on another network. The only thing I can think of is if both shows are produced by the same studio.

The producers of GG made a deal with MT that she would reprise the role for another three or four episodes. "Mercy" is set to start not before midseason so MT has a little bit time there.
I can see Hilary Duff to fit in, but pairing her character up with Vanessa as roommates!? Not a good thing. This character sucks the life out of anyone that comes near her. One of the most boring TV characters EVER, next to Mouth on OTH.
