Watch: Romijn, Price and Newman in Eastwick Promo

When Rebecca Romijn left Ugly Betty some may have wondered if they'd see her on a ABC show any time soon. It turns out she couldn't stay away for long. Along with Lipstick Jungle's Lindsay Price and Jaime Ray Newman–who recently appeared on Eureka–Romijn is set to star in Eastwick. Based on ABC's promo (watch it after the jump), Eastwick looks to be a magical combination of Desperate Housewives and Charmed.

Can Eastwick live up to the first season mystery of Desperate Housewives or the charm of the now cancelled Pushing Daisies? I'm a bit concerned. The extremely likeable Price has appeared in at least two cancelled NBC series, Lipstick Jungle and Coupling. Since leaving General Hospital in 2003 Newman has made a string of guest appearances on popular TV shows, but this will be her first opportunity to prove her worth as a series lead. Romijn is by far the show's biggest star, but as with any ensemble much of her success will depend on the chemistry she has with her co-stars.
