Could Melrose's Auggie and Violet Hook Up?

Could the friendship between Melrose's Auggie and Violet turn into something more? Colin Egglesfield hints at the possibility in an interview Soap Opera Source.
Some of the fans have commented on some of the sparks with your co-star Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. Any chance we'll see Auggie & Violet hooking up?Well it is Melrose Place so anything is possible [Laughs]. Having Auggie being someone who is kind of teetering on the edge of falling off, having his past demons haunt him in not always doing the right thing. He runs into a little bit of trouble in the middle of the season and Violet has kind of always been there. She does like him and she's trying to be friends with him and help him out any way she can. Something happens to Auggie where he could use a friend and that friendship definitely starts to turn into something else. But you have to wait until episode -- I think eight or nine before something like that happens.

I know there were a lot of jokes when Ashlee was cast but I'm loving her. I'd rather Auggie hook up with her instead of Riley. Jessica Lucas is a beautiful woman but Riley just irks me.

Riley is so boring. She's like the Allison of this Melrose except even though Allison was a boring character, the actress gave her dept. Jessica Lucas needs to do something to make Riely a more un-boring character. I do like Auggie and Riley though. I'm all for haunted, broken guys with good girls who try to help them. I do NOT want him with Voliet. She looks and seems like a little girl and they don't have any chemistry. Although I would LOVE for her to be crazy in love with him and try to hurt every woman who he gets with. That would be good. She could poison him and take advantage of him, stuff like that.
