I don't know if I would start watching MP because of this. They already have little regard for the show's history, and they have pretty much botched the return of every "legacy character" to grace the show.

I've been watching MP because I used to watch the old one with my sister back in the day. It's not much like the old one from what I can remember, but I was pissed that they killed whats-her-name in the first episode. I do like the character of Auggie too so I'm sad they fired CE. That being said I am excited for HL's return! This show isn't high on my list of shows to watch, but I do DVR it and watch when I have time, but I will definitely tune in for the return of Amanda!

Melrose Place is my favourite new show of the season, as well as my favourite show all around this year. LOVE. IT. Amanda can only make a good thing even better.

I adored the original, have watched each episode at least five times a piece, and I think the remake is spot on. I hate they killed Syd, but then she was dead in the original, and at least they gave her too us again to launch the new show. I also like the 90210 reboot, I guess I am in the minority! LOL

Jamey have to admit i've watched every episode of the new melrose.Wasnt that impressed the old versionwas da bomb.But the show didnt catch on to heather joined the cast.Hopefully its still true what the late Aaron spelling said that heather is the lucky penny that attracts millions of new viewers.

The new Melrose is, to me, just a steaming pile of crap....I tuned in last night (only the second time) and watched to see the return of La Locklear....and they've managed to make me not even care about that now....
Why is it that the writers think that it's enough to bring back Sydney, Jane, and Amanda, and not give at least SOME explanation of why they are back and what happened in the past 10 years? Sydney faked her death....WHY???....Jane was pregnant with Michael's baby and married Kyle...WHERE ARE THEY???....Amanda faked her death (for the SECOND time)along with Peter Burns to avoid prosecution and they ran off together...now she's in NYC running a p.r. firm under her real name....WHAT HAPPENED??? How is she not in jail for faking her death???? Lame.....bad storytelling.
