Which New Fall Series Is Your Favorite?

November sweeps ended on Thanksgiving eve, you're finishing the last of the Thanksgiving leftovers and all of ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and The CW's new scripted series are beginning to wrap up the last of their 2009 episodes. Anticipated by viewers some of the new series have already been cancelled, including: Eastwick, Hank and The Beautiful Life. A few series, like Brothers haven't "officially" (and are thus included in this poll) gotten the axe, but they might as well be. Others, like Vampire Diaries have set records for their network. Fortunately many of the new series have been picked up or received script orders. The question now becomes, which of these new series is your favorite?

Which new scripted TV series that hasn’t been cancelled is your favorite?

Favorites: Love "Vampire Diaries". It has become my favorite show of the season. It's getting better every episode and I really like the characters.
Coming in second would be "Cougar Town", followed by "Glee" and "The Good Wife".

Biggest disapointments: "FlashForward", because it's too slow in developing an interesting story arc and "V", which seems just cold without a heart. Can't relate to a single character.

Guilty pleasures: "Accidentally on Purpose", because I enjoy the chemistry between Jenna Elfman and Jon Foster ... and I even laughed a few times and "Melrose Place", which I'm still watching and asking myself every week: "Why?"

I was so disappointed in V obviously other people were too, it had huge numbers in it's debut but dropped considerably, I'm sorry I just not impressed with CGI- I'm old school liked the old music and special effects. What really pisses me off about these remakes is they don't include the original characters or make any reference to the original. I was hoping V could save us from stupid reality and game shows, I don't think they have to worry.
There are other remakes in the works: Dallas, Charlies Angels; Hart to Hart just to name a few; Hollywood has run out of ideals.

Three Rivers was pulled by CBS today, effective immediately.  (Reruns of CBS crime shows will follow Cold Case on Sundays from now on).

There's a lot of buzz around Modern Family, and I do like it, but I enjoy the show that precedes it--The Middle--so much more!  It's too bad it's not getting the attention it deserves!

My favorite is definitely 'Accidentally On Purpose'. I wasn't expecting much [I only watched for Jenna Elfman and Jon Foster], but it's actually genuinely funny. It has two great leads and two great supporters [Davis and Jenna's character's sister].

I've caught 'Modern Family' a few times, and i think it actually does live up to its hype. I can't watch it though, because it airs at the same time as Criminal Minds.

FlashForward was really disappointing. In fact, I've already stopped watching it.

I also watch Melrose Place. It will certainly never live up to the original, but it hits a niche.

Flash Forward is the only show I have watched all episodes of. Modern Family and the Middle I think I have only missed one each. So those are my favorites.

Glee is my favorite new show this season, but I also really enjoy Mercy and The Vampire Diaries, Accidentally on Purpose, and The Good Wife. I liked Eastwick, and Three Rivers,  but those have been canceled. I think Trauma was canceled too. It's kinda confusing- in Oct it was said it was canceled, then a couple of weeks ago, it was said that NBC had ordred 3 more episodes for this season. I don't get what that means for the future of this show.

i love a lot of them but Community has stolen my heart. Joel McHale is awesome and Chevy Chase's Pierce is the best character on tv behind Abby on NCIS & Garcia on Criminal Minds. I also like Accidentally on Purpose, Glee, and The Middle. Lots of great shows

Vampire Dairies is my favorite show right now.  I am really hoping for something to happen with Bonnie and Damon. Their little scenes showed all their chemistry and the fact besides Elena, Bonnie knows they are vampires.

I still like Flashforward.  I like the human stories being told.  They don't have to speed it up for me since the actually Flashforward takes place on April 29 I think which is a scheduled day for the show to air.  So I can't wait to see if Lloyd ends up with Olivia.  I really hope so.  I'm sick of her husband Mark's sad eyes.

And last but not least, Modern Family is too funny. Cam is the shows MVP followed by Manny then the grandfather.

Modern Family with Manny and Cam as the MVPs. Glee, I am glad to know that Mark Salling is an adult in real life because I have a crush on Puck. I like FlashForward, I feel like we get closer to answer with each episode.

I couldn't get through the first episode of V and I stopped watching Community after a couple of episodes.

I had to go with V, though I'm pretty sure it's tied with Glee.

Note - trauma has been cancelled. It was the only NBC show I watched this year. And honestly reminded me of ER the early years. It is edgy and new. Can't believe they cancelled it.

OH well - yes i can NBC sucks and they are going to turn all 3 night hours into the Jay leno show.

Actually Trauma is in that weird in-between world where it is 95% axed but not really officially yet, and there are rumors of additional episode orders out there, so it 'may' come back, but don't get your hopes up!

I usually skip hospital shows like Grey's but for some reason I love Mercy. The writing isn't exceptional but the cast totally rocks.

Finally caught up with Vampire Diaries and Glee, definitely must-sees for this season.

Don't worry, we'll have a cable series poll later in the week and White Collar will be on it.
