In the "Which The CW Series Has Been the Best this Fall?" post I mentioned that that Gossip Girl has been a disappointment for me this fall, but I wouldn't say it is the worst. Melrose Place has struggled to find an identity, but was miles ahead of 90210 which has been, well, 90210.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand why Melrose Place scores so high in this categorey. Sure it had a rocky start with a certain over-the-top actress, but now, especially with Amanda back, the show is making immense progress. In my opinion, Melrose has been leaps and bounds better than 90210 and Gossip Girl this season. I remember when Gossip Girl first came on..it really was OMG. Blair made that show. She was over-the-top in a GOOD way. Now it's just...boring. 90210 is beyond ridiculous with its storyline, and not in a good way eithrt. There's too much wrong with that show, I won't even get into it. Both have been removed from my DVR series recording lists, but I'll have to catch this week's GG if it was indeed better as BigDede said.

90210 - this show should be ashamed of itself that it's still on the air. I really wanted to give it a try ... but this show is so messed up and has NOTHING from the original series. It's just a stupid teen-soap, that's not well written and hasn't been able to create unique characters. Cancel that shit already!!! I just can say: Poor Jennie Garth! She deserves so much better.
Gossip Girl hasn't have a great year, but I still love the characters and the last episode was really good again. So I have hopes there, because this show has proven that it can be fantastic and OMFG-entertaining.
One Tree Hill is still good, only sometimes they are rushing stories a little bit and have too many secondary characters in the picture.
Melrose Place is a guilty pleasure. The show isn't really a hit ... but it's not a complete mess either. So I'm still watching.
Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and Smallville are three top shows, that I love watching every week. And I'm totally addicted to TVD.

What! Y'all don't like 90210. I love Naomi and Liam. I love Annie and Jasper. No they don't have a "Brenda" type character for this show and Dixon's clothes are super type (you can sometimes see his ball though is pants!) but I love it.

It's weird that EW had 90210 as one of there most improved shows of the fall...I agree with them...I don't understand why so mant people here don't like it.....oh well....I also think Melrose Place sucks though I haven't watched since HL's return.....Vampire Diaries was a decent addition and for some reason I don't watch ANTM anymore....I was a huge fan in the beginning.....

I agree Craigcp...just when you think Smallville has maxed out it figures out a way to keep things interesting. I've read on some sites that considering Smallville's ratings keep growing on Friday's that it might actually come back for another season next year. What will also be interesting is if the rumored spinoff happens and Smallville returns as well. It would be great to have two superhero series on TV at once.
The series I want to see most though would be a Smallville like Batman. Can you imagine how great that would be.
