Calista Flockhart to Scale Back at Brothers & Sisters

Bad news Brothers & Sisters fans. Michael Ausiello is reporting at EW.com that Calista Flockhart will be reducing her workload at Brothers & Sisters next season and her decision may have played a role in Rob Lowe's recently announced departure.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that his TV spouse, Calista Flockhart, will be working a reduced schedule next season.An ABC spokesperson declined to comment except to say that Flockhart will remain a series regular. In other words — and this is just me speculating — she’ll most likely appear in at least 13 of next season’s 22 episodes.

Woo hoo! I never cared for her or her character so it's nice to see her less. More for Rachel Griffiths! Sarah's my favorite character and I like Nora/Sally Field too! Make Gilles Marini a regular (and shirtless...A LOT) and I will be a happy camper! Sad to see Rob Lowe go but those are my wishes!

Well I love Rachael Griffiths but I will miss seeing Calista. SO, what are they going to start calling the show "Brothers and Sista" ? Maybe "Oh Brutha"?
This is probably all about money. I always wondered how a show would be able to pay so many high salaries (Rob Lowe, Sally Field, Calista Flockhart, Rachael Griffiths).

Aww, that's bad news. Too bad if it has to do with money. I love Calista's character more than Rachael's, and will miss seeing her alot.
