Samrocks - It was the time leaps that was preventing me from getting into it. That was only part of it though. I just had too many other things on my mind at the time to give it the attention it required. I will get back to it eventually.
GHvetfan: If the Harper Lee biography reveals why she never wrote another book, can you write about it on here? I've always been so curious about that.
Daisy - I have only gotten as far as the preface so far but I know from reading that small part that the author had the same curiosity. I am sure there will be some conclusion. I will let you know.
I am curious as well! I lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvved TKAMB! ( Like i nicknamed one of my friends Scout and still call her that today LOL), but i always wanted to read more from Harper.
The Lovely Bones movie got a bad review in my local paper. (Dallas)
So now I'm in NO hurry to see the movie but after hearing y'all talk about it so much, I am buying the book this weekend.
Can't wait to start it. Thanks for the recommendation!
GHfan767...I read Dear John a few months ago after I saw the preview. Have you gotten to the end yet? I've read most of Nicholas Sparks' books, and this one was very powerful - but in a different way. Now, I can't even watch the previews without crying.
Samrocks...No i havent gotten to the end yet. Im about half way through the book. This is the second book I've read by Nicholas Sparks. I also read Nights In Rodanthe after a saw that movie. And I loved both the movie and the book! But I've already cried once while reading Dear John and cant wait to get to the end!
I'm still a bigtyme fan of the Dresden Files Books, The Southern Vampire series and The Hollows series but there are other interesting Nonfiction books out now also.
