This show really reminds me of "OLD" WB! And that is what the CW needs to get back to, forget trying to become 90's Fox's 2.0 and focus on getting back to your roots!
ICAM! Felt like I was watching the old, great WB shows.
I really enjoyed the show. It lived up to the hype/promos. The writing was heartfelt yet funny. The acting was wonderful & the actors gell together wonderfully. I've watched the eppy a few times since last night. Looking forward to an all new eppy next week.
2. Why do they have two parents with brown and black hair have a blonde daughter? It doesn't make sense imo.
I thought the same thing! It doesn't really make sense. I mean it's not impossible, if Nate and Cate both have a blond parent it could be, but still, it's unlikely. It kinda distracted me.
But other than that, it seems to be a great show! Classic WB at its best.
Hair color is definitely determined by genetics, and darker is always dominant. But, like Luke said, it isn't impossible. It might be that TPTB simply liked that actor enough to overlook to differences in physicality.
I enjoyed the Pilot a lot more than I thought I would. It's a cute show. I hope the CW gives this show more of a chance than it did with the last CW show I liked, Privileged.
I really enjoy this show so far, but I do wonder how they can keep the theme going for long. The guy Cate is engaged to is not the man she will want in the end I don't think, that is one way of keeping it going. I liked the teenage set in the last episode, we got to see that Lux does need parenting she thinks she knows it all to soon.
This is a cute show. I like it so far. Yeah, the hair color thing threw me off, too. But I do like how they had Kate take mention of this to Bays (is that right? The nickname for Lux's bio dad) asking him how is it possible that she is a blond when we aren't. That was pretty funny. It did make me think that maybe Lux is really not their kid. But that would be too soapy, right? LOL
Lots of various persons know techniques of term paper titles writing, however this does not mean they will create superior quality research papers, but a media essay service would aid to accomplish the sample essay of high quality and show writing skillfulness of some students.
Life Unexpected is an excellent tv show! I really hope the CW keeps it around. I love the acting and the realistic portrayal of an extraordinary situation. Lux is an interesting, well-written character and to see her caught in between being an adult and kid is fun to watch.
I like how LU is unlike typical shows that the CW airs nowadays. This isn't about a rich family with rich kids that sleep around and drink and party. This is a grounded series about choices made in youth and dealing with them as adults. It's about relationships and how they have to change to make a family work. I hope it gets picked up for a second season!
I am! The previews look really good.

I loved Life Unexpected and like you all it reminded me of the good The WB series.
Two things of caution.
1. I'm not sure how long the child being the adult shtick can last.
2. Why do they have two parents with brown and black hair have a blonde daughter? It doesn't make sense imo.
I really enjoyed it too, like Luke said, not sure how long the premise can last, but I plan on enjoying it for as long as it does.

I didnt think hair was determined by genetics, thought that was eye colour, but I could be wrong.

That was my mistake. And I thought the actress hair was dyed in reality, anyway.

Life Unexpected really reminds me of Privleged and that show was just *adorable!* They'd better give LU a bigger chance to get going!

Did you notice that in the second episode they mad a little reference to the hair colour thing? Fantastic!
I am loving LU, I think it is one of my 2 favorite new shows this season (tied with Vampire Diaries)

Okay its time to talk about LUX...
it is a cute show, it does really feel like an old school WB show.....
With that said there is just something about it that is keeping it from being great, it is slow, and repetative at points and that is holding it back.
I am hopeful that it will improve with a second season, but for now...i am just going to keep watching and praying lol.
