I can't wait to see what the story is behind the new teacher because he's a vampire too.  Two I wonder if Tyler gonna be a wolf.

Oh how I LUV this show

Ugh i don't want to spoil anything, but we are in for some good things! I am enjoying the series, but I do wish it would follow the books a little more.

Also just a note, this is still the first season :) VD has not been picked up for a second season yet .

Everyone says that about the books and I need to read a few so I can get the feel of the authors creation of the characters...I"ve never liked Vampire stuff but Moonlight got me started then True Blood and now this..I'm not even in this demo group but like this story.  Can't wait for season2

don't worry people it has been picked up for the second season.  this show is the #1 show on the CW so they will not be canceling this anytime soon. 

two I don't think they're trying to keep it close to the books.

I haven't read the books but I love the show.

Damon is positively yummy and Stefan ain't nothing to shrug off, either.

If it werent for the Twilight Saga's there's be none of this chit.

The Vampire Diaries begins its second season at 8 o'clock Thursday, Sept. 9!
