Ugh i don't want to spoil anything, but we are in for some good things! I am enjoying the series, but I do wish it would follow the books a little more.
Also just a note, this is still the first season :) VD has not been picked up for a second season yet

Everyone says that about the books and I need to read a few so I can get the feel of the authors creation of the characters...I"ve never liked Vampire stuff but Moonlight got me started then True Blood and now this..I'm not even in this demo group but like this story. Can't wait for season2

don't worry people it has been picked up for the second season. this show is the #1 show on the CW so they will not be canceling this anytime soon.
