The Good Wife

 I'm a new fan from the UK. Although we are just on our 3rd episode (i think), I have been trying to catch up online. Absolutely loving the show so far. I'm not too sure about Kalinda / Alicia friendship though. I smell a rat whenever I see Kalinda. She is better suited as "BFF" with Diane. The scene where she gave her feedback on Diane's new lover has been one of my fav so far.

I have to agree with you especially re: her connection to Florrick she use to work for him and I'm sensing something there don't know what exactly if you need a spot for all the eppys PM me they are on 13.

Re: Diane/Kalinda's friendship

 I liked it when Kalinda investigated the guy Diane was dating
Diane as much asked for a background check  the dialog was awesome
its a really good eppy (also eppy 13 - Bad) when she deals with Diane owning a gun...

 I love this show!!!   I am torn about her relationship with her husband.  We don't have the whole story there.  Like the girl friends.  I love the investigator I like that she is so sharp.

I love this show too. I hope she doesn't take her husband back, I know he probably didn't cheat on her, but he still lied to her amd he seems like a creep.

I know BUT  for the first time in a long time his redemption is working on me....I don't know if I want her to take him back or not at this point.  But I truly think  he was a very powerful man and he was set up.  I sitll don't know what to think about him.  (I'm a huge Chris Noth fan from Law/Order Sex in the City)   so  I'm trying to cut him some slack. but I like him in this so much in Eppy 13 Hi  Peter was granted a re-trial;

You have a point there, they do seem to want to keep us guesisng as to his character, don't they? And he is a great actor so he keeps taking us along for the ride.

 I am now up-to-date and totally loving Alicia's conflict Re: her feelings for Will. 

The way Diane's relationship with the Malboro guy  was revealed in the courtroom was just cool.

WAS GOOD!! so good I watched it twice 
the court room trial was really good
 I didn't get it at first, they acquitted her and she took the plea
it was sad but I still haven't figured if she really did it or was just running scared facing the 45 years...and settled

Sexual tension was running through the whole eppy
Kalinda, Kalinda now this is a tough cookie (they all are) but
she is just so so you know....like she doesn't take any cah-cah..
I like the detective he's a funny looking guy but he's sexy to me...can't figure it out 

I didn't even know McVeigh and Diane did it until in the court room I was shocked I like how they have so many WTH? moments.  I thought she leflt after she kissed him at the table...when it was revealed in court I went
 
HUH? 

This show has so many intricate layers going on simultaneously yet its not muddled for me.   Just great storytelling and acting all around....
I'm a huge Chris Noth fan and I missed him WaaaaaaBawWaaa...........

I also liked the jury having a storyline

The Good Wife is one of the best shows on television right now. I've always liked Julianna Margulies from the early ER days and Chris Noth from Sex and the City. Right now I'm conflicted on who I want Alicia with because she has such good chemistry with both leading men. I am upset that it's a rerun this week.

Its so good until sometimes its unreal its like this just can't be this good it just can't be 

excellent acting and writing merge to create the perfect storm of excellent drama, just friggin excellente..
I think its because this (I think) is women driving storylines???

I'm hypnotized whenever I watch him...that's why I watched him on L/Order, Sex/City, and now here ...I follow him whereever he goes..

Noone can accuse CBS’ The Good Wife of playing it safe in season 2.

When the Emmy-nominated procedural returns this fall, Lockhart & Gardener will be in the midst of merging with another firm. The ensuing shakeup throws “everyone for a loop,” reveals executive producer Robert King, “[especially partners] Will [Josh Charles] and Diane [Christine Baranski]. And Alicia [Julianna Margulies], who thought she was [in the clear], once again has to prove herself in new surroundings.”

She’s not the only one. Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) finds her private eye turf threatened by her counterpart at the new company. The character, Blake, is described as a thirtysomething hottie whose cynical attitude is offset by lots of humor and sexual charisma. Wife is also casting the role of Corey, the head of the new firm and a mentor of sorts to Alicia.

“We want to improve on what we did the first season,” says King. “We want to continue to take chances, be contemporary, and push the envelope.”

Sounds like Wife is well on its way to accomplishing all three. Wouldn’t you agree?
