Katherine Heigl "ThisClose" to Leaving Grey's Anatomy
By Luke Kerr on March 11, 2010
Katherine Heigl is "thisclose" to leaving Grey's Anatomy and her final episode may have already aired, according to Michael Ausiello at EW.com.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that series creator Shonda Rhimes has agreed to release the fast-rising movie star from her contract. It’s now up to ABC Studios and Heigl’s reps to hash out a final exit agreement.
The source adds that talks between Heigl and ABC have been going on for months and last week both sides mutually decided that the best solution would be to part ways now as opposed to at the end of the season. As a result, Heigl is not expected to return to the Grey’s set, which means her final episode as Izzie has already aired.
ABC Renews Brothers & Sisters?
By Johnathon on March 07, 2010
I’m told ABC has renewed “Brothers & Sisters” for a fifth season. The Sally Field soap opera has had, I think, five show runners in four seasons. Maybe they can somehow get back to the show’s basic premise, from which it has seriously drifted, next fall …
Now while the network has not issues a statement as of yet, things are looking good for a fifth season of Brothers & Sisters.
Are you happy with this news, or do you think that it is time to say good-bye once and for all to the Walker clan?

According to TV Guide Magazine, Modern Family "plans to introduce the Tuckers, the down-home, fun-lovin’ country parents of Eric Stonestreet’s gay papa, Cameron" and Delta Burke is in the running for one of the roles.

By Luke Kerr on February 25, 2010
According to Michael Ausiello at EW.com, Katherine Heigl is scheduled to return to the Grey's Anatomy set on Monday and will appear in the season's five final episodes.
Question: What’s going on with Katherine Heigl? Is she ever going to be returning to Grey’s Anatomy? —HannahAusiello: Heigl’s due back on the Grey’s set on Monday, so it looks like Izzie will be in this season’s final five episodes. What happens after that is anyone’s guess. In other Grey’s news, I just learned that a second Mercy Wester will not be returning next season. Have you figured out who the other one is yet?

It looks like Leven Rambin's stint on Grey's Anatomy paid off. According to EW.com she's been cast in the Mouse House's upcoming summer series Scoundrels based on the New Zealand series Outrageous Fortune.
The dramedy centers on the matriarch (Virginia Madsen) of a family of crooks who attempts to lead her brood on an honest, hardworking path after her hubby (Neal McDonough) is sent to prison. Rambin will play their dumb-as-nails, aspiring model daughter, Vanessa.
