Family Guy's Unorthodox Emmy Campaign


Leave it to Family Guy to choose an unorthodox Emmy voter campaign. The series of clips feature Stewie beating up Brian after finding out that he hasn't decided who to vote for. Family Guy is the first animated series nominated in the category since The Flinstones. It is competing against 30 Rock, Entourage, Flight of the Conchords, How I Met Your Mother, The Office and Weeds. Watch the clips after the jump. READ MORE

Fox Tweaks Fall Premieres, Glee Debuts Earlier

Fox is doing a bit of tweaking to its original fall premiere schedule. So You Think You Can Dance and Glee will both premiere a week earlier, while Til Death and Brothers have both been pushed back. Check out the new Glee video above and Fox's updated premiere dates after the jump.

61st Annual Primetime Emmy Nominations


The 61st Primetime Emmy Award nominations were announced this morning. Family Guy–the Fox animated program that came back from cancellation–became the first animated show in nearly 50 years to be nominated in the Best Comedy category. Also nominated for best comedy is CBS's How I Met Your Mother, whose star Neil Patrick Harris will be hosting this year's award show.  Lost was one of seven shows nominated in the Best Drama category, but Battlestar Galactica was snubbed yet again. Upcoming Daytime Emmy host Vanessa Williams was nominated for Ugly Betty in the Supporting Actress Comedy category. HBO received 99 nominations, followed by NBC with 67, ABC with 55, CBS with 49 and Fox with 42.

Fringe had my favorite season finale of the 2008/2009 television season. Those last 10 seconds were shocking and have me wanting to see more.
