Which New Fall Series Is Your Favorite?

November sweeps ended on Thanksgiving eve, you're finishing the last of the Thanksgiving leftovers and all of ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and The CW's new scripted series are beginning to wrap up the last of their 2009 episodes. Anticipated by viewers some of the new series have already been cancelled, including: Eastwick, Hank and The Beautiful Life. A few series, like Brothers haven't "officially" (and are thus included in this poll) gotten the axe, but they might as well be. Others, like Vampire Diaries have set records for their network. Fortunately many of the new series have been picked up or received script orders. The question now becomes, which of these new series is your favorite?

Christine Woods Talks About Her Alter Ego on FlashForward

TVGuide.com talked with Christine Woods, who plays FBI agent Janis Hawk on ABC's hit show FlashForward. On last week's episode, Janis was in the hospital recovering from a gunshot wound, when her colleague took a flying leap off a building in a shocking cliffhanger.

TVGuide.com: How will Al's suicide affect the team on a personal as well as a professional level?

Christine Woods: I think that, at any time, if you lose a fellow soldier or a colleague, especially in law enforcement, it's a big blow. I think that that element is kind of typical. In terms of the flashforward and changing the future, he gave us a lot of hope. It's sad in a sense that he's gone, but now things could possibly change.

Thursday Nights, The DVR Dilemma

I read an interesting article at The Live Feed asking whether or not Fox made a mistake by moving Fringe to Thursdays. It made me think about how I’m adapting to the night when my two DVRs are at their busiest, what I’m watching live and how long it is taking me to get to shows I still love, but have a hard time finding time to watch. Let me break it down.

I don’t watch CBS’ Thursday night lineup. I started to fall for The Mentalist at the end of last season, enjoyed catching up with it in reruns over the summer and had it scheduled on my DVR this season, but I have yet to watch a new episode. In fact I had to delete it off my DVR because there just isn’t enough time to watch Thursday’s, Friday’s and Sunday’s shows by Monday morning, when the TV week starts all over again. I’ll have to catch up on it in the off season or next summer. READ MORE
