Which CW Series Has Been the Worst This Fall?

In the "Which The CW Series Has Been the Best this Fall?" post I mentioned that that Gossip Girl has been a disappointment for me this fall, but I wouldn't say it is the worst. Melrose Place has struggled to find an identity, but was miles ahead of 90210 which has been, well, 90210.

Coming Wednesday: CBS series

Which CW Series Has Been the Best This Fall?

With Christmas coming soon and the midseason TV series debuts in January not far behind, we're taking a look back at the 2009 Fall TV season. First up, The CW with its teen centric programming. By CW standards Vampire Diaries has been a ratings and demographic success, but Melrose Place has underwhelmed. Personally, I think Gossip Girl has been a disappointment this season, but just when I'm ready to throw something at my TV they pull off an episode like the Thanksgiving episode and suck me back in.

TV Recap: Gossip Girl, The Big Bang Theory, Castle and Heroes

I just love November sweeps. The networks pull out all the stops to pull in viewers' eyeballs to spike advertising rates. Some shows pull it off, others don't. It gives the old DVR quite the work out! This week I tuned in for Gossip Girl, Castle, The Big Bang Theory and Heroes. READ MORE

"Rufus Getting Married" on Gossip Girl

The third season of Gossip Girl has been a bit slow, but from the looks of the trailer for tonight's episode we may finally be getting one of those episodes that only Gossip Girl can deliver. Rufus and Lily are getting married and everyone is gathering to celebrate their nuptials. Of course Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) has plans to blow it all out of the water, if Dan doesn't break up with Olivia (Hilary Duff), by revealing Scott's secret. If the episode delivers everything the promo is selling I can not wait. I'm still hoping NBC's Mercy is cancelled. Gossip Girl needs her.  Watch the trailer for tonight's episode after the jump. Gossip Girl "The Freshmen"

Karma is a bitch and queens are dethroned. Blair Waldorf can thank her lucky stars that is all that has happened to her at NYU and she isn’t Marie Antoinette. Otherwise, she might have had the college equivalent of a beheading.

Thanks to Blair’s oppressive snobbery, her nemesis Georgina’s manipulations and a “touching” speech by Dan, Blair ended the episode running back to Chuck’s comforting bed. Poor Blair. Tonight’s episode only further solidified my hope Trachtenberg’s NBC show dies and she gets a Gossip Girl contract. It looks as if Georgina will be making life miserable for Blair next week too (View next week's promo after the jump).
