Kanye Apologizes to Taylor Swift After Her Appearance on The View


Admist all of Kanye West's public apologies to Taylor Swift –on his blog and The Jay Leno Show –for his behavior at Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards, it seems he hadn't  take the time to apologize to Swift personally.

During her appearance on The View, Swift was asked by Sherri Shepherd if she'd want to meet with with Kanye face-to-face, her response was "Sure. I mean he has not personally reached out." Barbara Walters followed up by asking, "He hasn't called or sent a message or anything?" Swift responded with a simple, "No." The conversation continued, but near the end of the topic Whoopi told Taylor "Well hopefully, if Kanye is watching, he'll know what to do." Obama: Kanye West is a "Jackass"


The fallout from Kanye West's interruption (see clip after the jump) of Taylor Swift's VMA acceptance speech continues. According to USA Today, in an off-the-record moment as he was being miked for an interview with CNBC, President Obama described West as "a jackass."

An ABC News reporter, Terry Moran, tweeted the private moment, "Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a 'jackass' for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential," before deleting it. Because the comment was made off-the-record ABC News issued an apology for Moran's journalistic breach. READ MORE
