Should Betty White Host SNL?

Betty White fans across the internet are campaigning to have the TV legend, comedic actress and Super Bowl ad star host NBC's Saturday Night Live. However according to People, White isn't sure it would ever happen.

"I don't even know where that came from," the 88-year-old Mary Tyler Moore Show and Golden Girls Emmy winner tells PEOPLE about the online movement to have her host SNL. "That just came out of left field. It's ridiculous. I don't think [SNL creator and producer] Lorne Michaels even knows about it, so we won't worry about it."

Still, should Michaels phone her, she'll take it – both the call and the offer to host the 35-year-old NBC staple, provided her demanding schedule will allow.

Digital Spy is reporting NBC  has opted to make Day One a two-hour movie instead of a series. This is a drastic reduction from the original 13 episode deal the show was picked up with.

Taylor Kitsch Leaving Friday Night Lights

It's a sad day for Panther football fans! Taylor Kitsch (Tim Riggins) will not be returning when Friday Night Lights begins production on its next season. The news was first reported by E! Online's Watch With Kristin. This does not come as a huge surprise considering his character, Tim Riggins graduated high school at the end of season three, but that doesn't make the news hurt any less!

Fans of Kitsch can keep an eye out for one of his many film projects set to be hitting a theater near you, and don't count out a return to Friday Night Lights just yet. Despite certain graduated seniors lack of homecoming storylines this season on FNL, there is always the chance Riggins may pop up in Dillon again.
