Thomas Calabro Isn't Counting Out Second Season of Melrose Place

Melrose Place is not dead yet! At least that is what star Thomas Calabro (Dr. Michael Mancini) wants us to think.

The actor told E! Online

"Right now, we're airing our first five or six episodes internationally, and I think the show's a big international hit. That's enough to bring a show back.

"The original Melrose Place struggled at first, too, and it ended up being a hit for seven seasons," Calabro continued. "We ended up being a defining mark of the '90s, and I don't see any reason why that can't happen again."

ABC Renews Brothers & Sisters?

The Hollywood Reporter has some good news for fans of the ABC primetime sudser Brothers & Sisters.

I’m told ABC has renewed “Brothers & Sisters” for a fifth season. The Sally Field soap opera has had, I think, five show runners in four seasons. Maybe they can somehow get back to the show’s basic premise, from which it has seriously drifted, next fall …

Now while the network has not issues a statement as of yet, things are looking good for a fifth season of Brothers &  Sisters.

Are you happy with this news? Or do you think that it is time to say good-bye once and for all to the Walker clan?

Ausiello: Heigl’s due back on the Grey’s set on Monday, so it looks like Izzie will be in this season’s final five episodes. What happens after that is anyone’s guess. In other Grey’s news, I just learned that a second Mercy Wester will not be returning next season. Have you figured out who the other one is yet?
