Which CW Series Has Been the Worst This Fall?

In the "Which The CW Series Has Been the Best this Fall?" post I mentioned that that Gossip Girl has been a disappointment for me this fall, but I wouldn't say it is the worst. Melrose Place has struggled to find an identity, but was miles ahead of 90210 which has been, well, 90210.

Which CW Series Has Been the Best This Fall?

With Christmas coming soon and the midseason TV series debuts in January not far behind, we're taking a look back at the 2009 Fall TV season. First up, The CW with its teen centric programming. By CW standards Vampire Diaries has been a ratings and demographic success, but Melrose Place has underwhelmed. Personally, I think Gossip Girl has been a disappointment this season, but just when I'm ready to throw something at my TV they pull off an episode like the Thanksgiving episode and suck me back in.

Which New Fall Series Is Your Favorite?

November sweeps ended on Thanksgiving eve, you're finishing the last of the Thanksgiving leftovers and all of ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and The CW's new scripted series are beginning to wrap up the last of their 2009 episodes. Anticipated by viewers some of the new series have already been cancelled, including: Eastwick, Hank and The Beautiful Life. A few series, like Brothers haven't "officially" (and are thus included in this poll) gotten the axe, but they might as well be. Others, like Vampire Diaries have set records for their network. Fortunately many of the new series have been picked up or received script orders. The question now becomes, which of these new series is your favorite?

Stars Help Serve Thanksgiving Dinner to Homeless

The Young and the Restless' Kate Linder was one of many celebrities who turned out to help serve Thanksgiving dinners for the homeless. The annual event, hosted by Kirk and Anne Douglas and the Los Angeles Mission, brought out Greek's Gregory Michael, Vampire Diaries' Kayla Ewell,  recent Brothers & Sisters' guest Giles Marini, Desperate Housewives' Andrea Bowen, High School Musical's Corbin Bleu and Donal Logue among others. See more photos from Thanksgiving after the jump. Thursday Nights, The DVR Dilemma

I read an interesting article at The Live Feed asking whether or not Fox made a mistake by moving Fringe to Thursdays. It made me think about how I’m adapting to the night when my two DVRs are at their busiest, what I’m watching live and how long it is taking me to get to shows I still love, but have a hard time finding time to watch. Let me break it down.

I don’t watch CBS’ Thursday night lineup. I started to fall for The Mentalist at the end of last season, enjoyed catching up with it in reruns over the summer and had it scheduled on my DVR this season, but I have yet to watch a new episode. In fact I had to delete it off my DVR because there just isn’t enough time to watch Thursday’s, Friday’s and Sunday’s shows by Monday morning, when the TV week starts all over again. I’ll have to catch up on it in the off season or next summer. READ MORE

The Vampire Diaries "Lost Girls" Clips

Tonight's Vampire Diaries episode once again shows that there is no need to follow the original source material that people love when making things up as we go along is so much easier! (Yes, I am still bitter that little Margarette not only had a sex change and became Jeremy, but also went from being four to being sixteen.)

Book changes aside, on tonight's episode, we get to learn a little bit more about Stefan's ex, Katherine, and let me tell you it's an episode you won't want to miss.  So check out the clips above and below, then comment to tell me what you have thought of the season so far and where you think things are going. Vampire Diaries "Friday Night Bites"

Good news Vampire Diaries fans! In addition to getting an order for nine additional scripts earlier this week , ratings for last night's episode  went up, even against the giant ratings debut of ABC's Flash Foward.

Things are heating up fast on Vampire Diaries as Damon manipulated an invitation into Elena's house, continued to snack on Caroline and attacked the football coach. READ MORE
